Chaque franc récolté est un franc investi en totalité dans un projet mené sur le terrain, tous les frais administratifs étant pris en charge par le fondateur de Children Action. Les programmes font l’objet d’une étude budgétaire et de faisabilité précise. L'affectation des dons et leur utilisation sont soumises à un contrôle rigoureux.
Les fonds récoltés sont répartis selon les besoins de chaque projet. Les donateurs ont par ailleurs la possibilité d'allouer leurs contributions au projet de leur choix. Les fonds ainsi assignés seront utilisés intégralement et exclusivement pour financer le projet défini.
Dirigée comme une entreprise, Children Action mène des projets ciblés, répondant à des exigences pointues de gestion, de compétences et de finalité. La Fondation réalise des projets de taille moyenne, privilégiant la qualité à la quantité. Une attention particulière est portée à la faisabilité et à l’éthique, au choix des équipes, à la maîtrise des coûts et à l’évaluation des résultats obtenus. Les choix et les orientations de Children Action sont décidés par le Conseil de Fondation et confortés par un Comité d’éthique, tous deux composés de personnalités du monde scientifique, médical et des affaires.
Children Action n'est pas une fondation "donatrice" : Children Action met en place ses propres projets ou s'investit dans des programmes réalisés en partenariat avec d'autres organismes. La Fondation ne fournit pas de soutien financier sans une implication directe dans les projets et sans que son expertise ne permette d'apporter une valeur ajoutée.
Priorité est donnée aux projets s'inscrivant dans les domaines dans lesquels la fondation agit déjà ainsi que dans les pays où elle est présente.
Children Action n’entre pas en matière pour des demandes de soutien sortant de son domaine d’intervention ni pour des initiatives concernant des collectes de fonds ou du sponsoring.Children Action bénéficie des exonérations fiscales usuelles en la matière et des dispositions de l’article 21u de la loi sur les contributions publiques en Suisse. De plus, Children Action est " tax deductible " pour les fondations aux USA. La Fondation est partenaire du réseau TGE Transnational Giving Europe http://www.transnationalgiving.eu/

Pour être performant et répondre au plus haut niveau d'exigence, Children Action doit réunir des compétences spécifiques. Aussi, les personnes qui s’investissent sont choisies selon les besoins des projets et en fonction de critères précis.
How are the donations collected used?
Each franc collected is a franc invested entirely in a project carried out on the ground, all administrative costs being covered by the founder of Children Action. The programs are subject to a precise budgetary and feasibility study. The allocation of donations and their use are subject to rigorous control.
How is the distribution of donations carried out?"
The funds collected are allocated according to the needs of each project. Donors also have the option to allocate their contributions to the project of their choice. The funds assigned in this manner will be used entirely and exclusively to finance the defined project."
How are the projects selected?
Operated like a business, Children Action carries out targeted projects that meet specific requirements for management, skills, and purpose. The Foundation undertakes medium-sized projects, emphasizing quality over quantity. Special attention is given to feasibility and ethics, team selection, cost control, and evaluation of results. The choices and directions of Children Action are decided by the Foundation's Board and supported by an Ethics Committee, both composed of individuals from the scientific, medical, and business worlds.
Can I submit a project?"
Children Action is not a 'grantmaking' foundation. Children Action initiates its own projects or gets involved in programs in partnership with other organizations. The Foundation does not provide financial support without direct involvement in the projects and without its expertise adding value. Priority is given to projects within the Foundation's areas of operation and the countries where it is present. Children Action does not consider requests for support outside of its scope of operation or for fundraising or sponsorship initiatives.
Are donations made to the Foundation tax deductible?"
Children Action benefits from the usual tax exemptions in this matter and the provisions of Article 21u of the Swiss Federal Tax Law. Additionally, Children Action is 'tax deductible' for foundations in the USA. The Foundation is a partner in the Transnational Giving Europe network (http://www.transnationalgiving.eu/)."
