Why Children Action?

Whether in Europe or further afield, a child's first steps in life can often be marked by loneliness and struggle. Children hold the future of the planet in their hands, and yet are defenceless in the face of illness, poverty, or political and ethnic conflict. Children Action was set up to help children not helped by life, because the first right of any child is the right is to a childhood.

Established in February 1994, Children Action is a Swiss charitable foundation whose mission is to provide practical aid to children in Switzerland and elsewhere. Efficiency is the cornerstone of all Children Action's projects, each of which is set up and implemented by expert teams in fields such as medical and surgical care, psychological support, teenage suicide preventative care and many more.
